Seems like it is zooming past after a slow start!

    Sparky Camp was fantastic!  Several churches took advantage of the day and brought their Sparky Award winners to Covenant Hills for a few hours of fun.  One little girl was overheard saying "this is the best day of my life!".  check out the website for further info.  Why not plan now for YOUR Sparks to participate the first Saturday of June 2009? 

    We had the blessing of participating in Vacation Bible Time with First Baptist of Clarkston a few weeks ago.  The theme was Dinosaurs!  Sharing the gospel was the goal.  Seeds were planted and children were counseled every evening.  We know of at least 2 or 3 that accepted Christ as their Savior!  Rick will be a Bible teacher for our home church's VBT too.

    Like many of you, we will NOT be taking a vacation this summer.  We were able to get together with our family in late April and will take a few day trips here and there.  We've been enjoying our yard and having folks over for picnics. 

    Rick is working on our INFO-PAK for 2008-09 ... trying to get locations and dates nailed down for activities and conferences.  One church recently called and asked to host a mini-conference in their area!  (what a blessing)  We've also been busy visiting churches and helping leaders get ready for the new club year.
