I was reminded again today of the Father's handiwork in even the tiniest creatures as I sat at the kitchen table and looked out the window at the hummingbird feeders on the deck.  Rick's "little friends" as they are affectionately known at  our house have different personalities, sizes and colors. Their menu is very simple - uncolored sugar water. I've tried to incorporate two new, decorative feeders, but they will have nothing to do with them.  They are very possessive of their territory and chatter like crazy when it is invaded! As it drizzled rain this am, one little bird sat on top of the feeder hook, fluffed out its feathers and was either trying to stay warm or have a lazy shower. 

I'm so glad God made us all different. People come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Thankfully our personalities are unique & hopefully modeled after Christ?. Our menu is the Word of God. The gospel message we share is still very simple but it's all someone needs to go to Heaven. Just like the hummingbirds, I'm very territorial! (Aren't we all?) As a human, I like to do things MY way .. all the time knowing that God's plan is better! Thank you Jesus for answering prayer, forgiving and gently guiding and directing my path. I'm still trying to listen and learn - not chatter all the time!  God's goodness is limitless; His mercy is everlasting; His love never changes; His Word is enough! Do you know Him?
